Validity of the Leadership Model
The Validity of the Formula 4 Leadership Decision Making Model
When 760 LJA decisions were analysed, on 66% of occasions the LJA user had rated the outcome suggested by the software as either appropriate or highly appropriate. On only 7 out of 760 occasions did the user suggest that the outcome was 'totally inappropriate', and on only 17% of occasions did the user suggest that the software's advice was 'inappropriate'.
It was also possible to study the correspondence between the user's categorisation of the style and the software's categorisation based upon the way the user described the situation. Analysis showed a 91% correspondence with the Leader Orientation Model. In only 9% of cases did the user and the software fail to find agreement.
